Glide Engineering, Inc. born out of the Idea by Jim And Rosemary Muller to create and manufacture top quality replacement seat frames for classic cars, hot rods, pickups, and muscle cars. The original company was launched 1984 in Vernon, California and was called Rose Manufacturing. A few years later Jim and Rosemary decided to relocate the company to Ontario, California in order to work closer to home and participate in small business functions to their community. In 1989 it was decided to rebrand the company as Glide Engineering and that is when "Put a Glide  in Your Ride" became the company slogan. As the company grew so did the need for a larger manufacturing facility and in that same year (1989) Glide found it's home In Rancho Cucamonga, California. Glide Engineerings now home for 29 years!
