THE MAN BEHIND GLIDE ENGINEERING

Jim Muller (1941-2003), after starting Glide Engineering Inc. In 1989, we quickly became the leading innovator, designer and manufacturer of custom seat frames for Street Rods, Custom cars, Vintage cars and trucks. Jim was very meticulous and his frames had to fit perfectly or he would start over again and that is the reason for the unbeatable quality behind Glide’s seat frames.

Building quality seats was his number one priority and he was very proud of the products sold and the service that all of his employees at Glide would provide their customers.

Under Jim’s guidance, Glide quickly became the #1 leader in Worldwide Street Rod seating.

He was a truly great man and we miss him very much.
